Biography

Ahmad H. Al-Hajj, MD is Assistant Professor in the Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Emory University School of Medicine. Board certified in internal medicine, medical oncology and hematology, Dr. Al-Hajj practices at Emory Johns Creek Hospital and Emory Saint Joseph's Hospital. Prior to joining Emory, he was in private practice for 12 years at Central Georgia Cancer Center in Warner Robins, Georgia.

Education

Dr. Al-Hajj received his Medical Degree from University of Jordan in Anman, Jordan. He completed his residency in internal medicine in 2004 and a fellowship in hematology and medical oncology in 2007 at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. During fellowship, he was involved in research utilizing nanoparticles to improve the diagnostic value of breast cancer biopsies.
