Biography
Nabil Calisi, MD, MPH, is Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at Emory Univeristy School of Medicine. A board certified diagnostic radiologist, Dr. Calisi specializes in breast imaging and works with the breast oncology team at Winship Cancer Institute to provide care for patients with breast cancer.
Dr. Calisi is a member of the Cancer Prevention and Control Research Program at Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Radiology, a US Department of State Fulbright Scholar and a British Council Global Changemaker.
Education
Dr. Calisi earned his Medical Degree from University of Baghdad, College of Medicine in Baghdad, Iraq. He completed both an internship year and radiology residency at the University of Missouri at Kansas City, Missouri, followed by a breast imaging fellowship at Harvard Medical School-Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. He has experience in non-profit activism in the Middle East advocating for human rights, and holds a Global Leadership Certificate and a Master of Public Health from the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia.

Dr. Calisi's research interests include medical education, medical ethics and health policy.
