Biography
Amir H. Davarpanah, MD is associate professor in the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Davarpanah is a board certified abdominal and cardiothoracic radiologist with a focus on oncologic imaging and cardiac MRI.
Education
Dr. Davarpanah obtained his medical degree from Tehran School of Medical Sciences in Tehran, Iran. He did his diagnostic radiology residency at Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, Connecticut. Following residency, Dr. Davarpanah completed fellowships in abdominal and cardiothoracic imaging at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard University School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts.
Research
Dr. Davarpanah's research interest is in cardiac and pulmonary imaging with a focus on new MR techniques and in the development of imaging biomarkers with clinical application in gastrointestinal, genitourinary and gynecologic oncology.
