Sarcoma Team

Winship Cancer Institute's sarcoma doctors and Musculoskeletal medical team members have specific expertise in the diagnosis, assessment, and treatment of these cancers.

The group includes:

  • Medical Oncologists
  • Radiation Oncologists
  • Orthopaedic Surgeons
  • Orthopaedic Oncologists
  • Advanced Practice Nurses

Representatives from nutrition, pharmacy, psychiatry, palliative care, and rehabilitation services round out the team. The interaction of these specialists is critical in developing plans of care for each patient. The group meets regularly to discuss cases, review treatment plans, and identify new treatment strategies.
