Moving Forward

2021 provides hope. Multiple COVID-19 vaccines were developed in record time and some form of normalcy is moving into focus. I think I speak for all of us that we are ready to move forward. Winship too will move forward. We will build upon the strong foundations created by Dr. Curran and take this momentum to fuel our growth. We are an integral part of our community and must stay at the cutting edge of science, education, and care. We exemplify this in the development of our new Winship at Emory Midtown tower, new recruits, new grants, community partnerships, and our commitment to the next generation of providers and scientists.
My goal throughout our search for a permanent director, is to provide effective communication, and of course live up to the ideals and mission of Winship. There is hope, momentum, excitement, and innovation here at Winship, and I am looking forward to working with everyone to move forward.
