Shared Resources Hub

"Through this resource, I am confident that Winship researchers will be able to get support in one facility for their individual research programs."

Dear Winship Colleagues,

I'm excited to talk about an important milestone in Winship's forward progress. We recently opened the doors to the new shared resources hub on the third floor of B building on the Clifton campus.

As you know, Winship has four scientific programs: Discovery and Developmental Therapeutics, Cancer Immunology, Cell and Molecular Biology and Cancer Prevention and Control. These four programs bring together more than 500 researchers from across departments within Emory University, and even beyond.

To help us conduct cutting-edge research to develop new treatment options and new interventions for patients with or at risk for cancer, the new shared resources hub offers a number of important resources that researchers need to facilitate their research. This includes biostatistics, animal models, microscopy and immune monitoring for patients who are on immunotherapy trials.

Through this resource, I am confident that Winship researchers will be able to get support in one facility for their individual research programs. This will also offer greater opportunities for collaborations.

Ultimately the work facilitated by the shared resource hub will help us move even closer to our mission of discovering cures for cancer and inspiring hope for our patients.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Ram
