Ten Winship investigators have been awarded pilot grants through the Winship Invest$ program. The peer-reviewed program is designed to provide pilot funds for novel, innovative cancer research projects by Winship researchers. Winship Invest$ is supported by philanthropic contributions and developmental funds in Winship's Cancer Center Support Grant (P30CA138292) supported by the National Cancer Institute (NCI) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

Each of the Winship Invest$ grants awarded below fall under a specific research domain. Three of the four research domains, all but melanoma, were strategically selected by Winship Executive Leadership to align under the NCI's Cancer Moonshot initiative.
