Winship Cancer Institute was well represented at the 2019 NACCDO-PAMN conference in Oklahoma City with leadership and members of the communications and development teams.

Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University was selected to host the 2022 NACCDO-PAMN conference in Atlanta. The announcement was made in Oklahoma City on April 10th during the 2019 conference.

The National Association of Cancer Center Development Officers (NACCDO) and the Public Affairs and Marketing Network of National Cancer Centers (PAMN) annual meeting attracts about 500 participants from around the U.S.

In presenting the winning bid, Winship's Executive Director Walter J. Curran, Jr., MD, said: "as the first and only National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer center in the state of Georgia, Winship has a lot to offer NACCDO-PAMN members and meeting participants. We look forward to welcoming everyone to our beautiful city and showing them our outstanding research and clinical facilities."
