Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University will hold its 12th annual Oncology Nursing Symposium March 20-21, 2020. The event will be held at the Cobb Galleria Centre in Atlanta, Georgia.

The program, designed around the theme "Leadership and Resilience in Oncology Nursing," includes a keynote talk from Tim Cunningham, DrPH, MSN, RN, VP of practice and innovation at Emory Healthcare. Other topics during the symposium will focus on handling oncologic emergencies, caring for patients at end of life, and learning about team-based care.

Reception dinner and networking event on Friday, March 20 is sponsored by The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Attendees of the certified nursing education activity will be awarded up to 8.0 contact hours by the Emory Nursing Professional Development Center, a provider accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
