Aman Chhabra, MS, is Winship's first chief business officer.

Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University has named Aman Chhabra, MS, as its first chief business officer. The new position will oversee the fiscal management of all Winship operating units, including administration, basic and translational science research programs, clinical research, shared resources, and the Winship Cancer Network.

In his new role, Chhabra will lead the development and implementation of a strategic financial plan and annual budgets for Winship, while driving improvements in forecasting and optimizing financial performance to support the mission of the cancer center and its growth.

Chhabra has served as director of finance and business operations since joining Winship in 2018. His health care finance and administration career has included previous roles with Duke Cancer Institute, Stanford Medicine, and PricewaterhouseCoopers' Healthcare Advisory Services division. He holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and completed executive education coursework at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Sloan School of Management.
