Winship investigators will present new cancer research findings at the AACR Annual Meeting, taking place virtually April 10-15 and May 17-21.

Investigators from Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University (Winship) will present new findings, ranging from strategies aimed at reducing cancer health disparities to clinical trials of novel immunotherapies, at the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) annual meeting, taking place virtually April 10-15 and May 17-21. The AACR annual meeting covers the latest discoveries in cancer research and highlights the work of experts from institutions all over the world.

The theme of the 2021 AACR Annual Meeting is "Discovery Science Driving Clinical Breakthroughs." Scientific studies will be presented during week one of the program, April 10-15. Education sessions, methods workshops, meet-the-expert sessions, and professional advancement sessions will be presented during week two, May 17-21. The full schedule and livestream links can be found online.

After the conclusion of the AACR annual meeting, Winship will host a virtual "Best of Winship at AACR" event at noon on May 26 featuring faculty, trainees, and students who presented at the conference. The forum will enable Winship investigators to view and share more of their research, connect with peers, get feedback, and engage even further with the Winship research community through a collaborative online platform. Registration information for the "Best of Winship at AACR" will be emailed and posted on the Winship events page in the next several weeks.
