Sherry B. Williams is a four-time breast cancer survivor and a positive voice for those who are undergoing cancer treatment. At the insistence of her Winship team of clinicians, she encourages other patients and urges them not to give up the fight against cancer.

Williams, who is a legislative assistant for the Georgia General Assembly, is grateful for the care that she received while at Winship. Since then, she referred three close friends to Winship and cheered them on throughout their journey.

She states, "It is early detection, and great doctors like those at Winship, who not only treat patients but also do extensive research, advocate for clinical trials, and share during tumor board meetings that make a difference in cancer care."
