Biography

Ms. Brutcher is an Adult Nurse Practitioner specializing in Oncology. She has 27 years experience as a Registered Nurse, and the past 8 years as an Adult Nurse Practitioner with Medical Oncology. She has held several leadership roles that include Lead Advanced Practice Provider for Medical Oncology. She is currently the Lead Medical Oncology Mid-level and serves as adjunct faculty for the Emory Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing. She is a chemotherapy infusion specialist.

Education

Ms. Brutcher earned her Associates-Registered Nurse (ARN) degree at St. Joseph’s School of Nursing in Syracuse, New York. Ms. Brutcher earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing at the University of Phoenix. In 2006, she obtained her Master of Science in Nursing; Adult Practitioner, Specializing in Oncology and Immunology at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.

Awards

Ms. Brutcher was the recipient of the ONS Scholarship award. She is also the recipient of the Daisy Foundation Nursing Research Grant as the principal investigator of the clinical trial, Prevalence of Zinc Deficiency in Patients with Upper GI Cancer on Chemotherapy.
