Biography
Board certified through American Nurses Credentialing Center, Catherine Caprara Braga, MSN, AGACNP-BC, serves as lead nurse practitioner and co-investigator on early drug development trials in the Phase 1 Clinical Trials Unit at Winship. Ms. Caprara served as an adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner in the bone marrow and stem cell transplantation unit at Emory University Hospital, and previously worked as an oncology-certified nurse clinician for four years on the medical oncology unit at Emory University Hospital.
Education
Ms. Caprara has a Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree from Franciscan University. She also is a magna cum laude graduate with Masters of Science in Nursing from Emory University.
Awards
Ms. Caprara has received the Sabrina Williams Oncology Nursing Education Award and the Katie Ferraris Taylor Oncology Nursing Fund Award.
