Biography
Heather Ferrell, MSN, AGPCNP-C, AOCNP, is a nurse practitioner with the Oncology Diagnostic Clinic at Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University. She specializes in evaluating patients who present with clinical signs or radiologic findings suspicious for a new cancer diagnosis. She has previously enjoyed working in many oncologic specialties including blood and marrow transplant, breast, lung, and colon cancers, lymphoma, and myeloma.
Education
Ms. Ferrell received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and earned her Master of Science in Nursing from The University of Alabama at Birmingham. She completed fellowship training in oncology at Levine Cancer Institute in Charlotte, North Carolina. She is a board certified advanced oncology nurse practitioner.
