Ms. Parker has worked as a nurse practitioner in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Emory Saint Joseph's Hospital since 2014.

She has a BS in speech pathology and audiology from the University of Southwestern Louisiana, an MA in audiology from the University of Southern Mississippi, a BS in nursing from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and an MA Family Nurse Practitioner degree from the University of South Alabama. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau. She is certified in Wound Care from the National Alliance of Wound Care and in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.

Before her job at Emory Saint Joseph’s Hospital, Ms. Parker worked as a nurse practitioner at North Atlanta Surgical Associates. She also served as a registered nurse for the Louisiana Heath Care Network, the Surgery Center and the Women’s & Children’s Hospital in Louisiana.

Ms. Parker lives in Gwinnett County and is originally from New Orleans, LA. She is married and has one daughter that attends UGA. She also has a Norwich Terrier named Sadie.
