Biography
Felicia Williams, DNP, is a doctorate level nurse practitioner with the medical oncology team at Emory University Hospital Midtown. Dr. Williams has experience caring for patients with various solid tumor types comprising lung, breast, head, and neck. She now specializes in sarcoma, melanoma, and ovarian cancer. She has over 17 years of nursing experience. She currently serves as the lead advanced practice practitioner for the medical oncology team at the Midtown campus.
Education
Dr. Williams furthered her education after becoming a Nurse Practitioner. She earned a Doctorate in Nursing from Medical College of Georgia. She attained her Master's in Nursing from Georgia State University and a Bachelor's in Nursing from Tuskegee University.
Research
Dr. Williams has done research in the area of sexual dysfunction and breast cancer patients receiving chemotherapy.
Publications
Dr. Williams is a published author. She has authored a chapter in a chemotherapy handbook focusing on patient and family support revolving around cancer therapy. Other works have appeared in Journal of Pharmacy Practice and Case Reports in Oncology.
