Kate Carlson Wrammert is a Nurse Practitioner Specialist at Winship Cancer Institute. Since 2004, she has been practicing at Winship helping patients manage their treatment related side effects as well as symptoms from their disease. She is a Board Certified Women's Health Nurse Practitioner, Adult Health Nurse Practitioner, and Advanced Oncology Nurse Practitioner. In 2013, she completed a fellowship at the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine.
Ms. Wrammert has participated in numerous committees and projects at Emory that have focused on quality improvement and patient education. She has lectured extensively on the topic of side effect management of targeted oncologic therapies.
Ms. Wrammert is an Adjunct Instructor in the Department of Family and Community Health at Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing and serves as a preceptor for Nurse Practitioner students.
Ms. Wrammert completed her undergraduate training at University of Texas and Texas Tech University in Biology and a Master's of Science in Nursing at Vanderbilt University School of Nursing in 2003. She is completing her post-masters nursing degree in Acute Care/Gerontology Nurse Practitioner at University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing.
