Biography
Abeer N. AbouYabis, MD, is assistant professor and serves as co-vice chair of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Emory University School of Medicine. Board certified in hematology and medical oncology, Dr. AbouYabis practices general hematology and specializes in the treatment and management of hematologic disorders and malignancies. Prior to joining Emory in 2018, she worked in private practice in Macon, Georgia focusing on benign hematology.
Education
Dr. AbouYabis completed her Medical Degree at American University of Beirut in Beirut, Lebanon. She completed her residency in internal medicine and her fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia.

Dr. AbouYabis has been published in a number of leading journals including Leukemia and Lymphoma and Bone.
