Biography

Suniah S. Ayub, MD, is assistant professor in the Division of Surgical Oncology of the Department of Surgery at Emory University School of Medicine. A board certified surgeon, Dr. Ayub specializes in the surgical management of breast cancer. She is an attending physician at Emory Saint Joseph's Hospital and Emory Johns Creek Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia.

Education

Dr. Ayub received her MD from the University of Virginia School of Medicine. Her postgraduate medical training includes a General Surgery Residency at the University of Florida, where she served as an administrative chief resident, and a fellowship in Breast Surgical Oncology at Northwestern University.

Publications

Dr. Ayub's articles have been published in a number of leading journals including the Journal of Vascular Surgery, Journal of Pediatric Surgery, and the Journal of the National Medical Association.
