Biography
Sharon M. Castellino, MD, MSc, is a Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Castellino is the Director of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Program at the Aflac Cancer & Blood Disorders Center of Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. She is board certified in pediatric hematology/oncology.
Dr. Castellino is a member of the Cancer Prevention and Control Research Program at Winship Cancer Institute. She also holds memberships with multiple professional organizations including American Society of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, Children's Oncology Group and Society of Pediatric Research.
Education
Dr. Castellino earned her MD from Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, North Carolina. She also completed both her residency in pediatrics and her fellowship in pediatric hematology/oncology at Duke University School of Medicine. She completed her post-doctoral training with a fellowship in cancer survivorship at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
Research
Dr. Castellino's research interests are in the areas of Hodkin lymphoma and cancer survivorship.
