Biography
Jacob S. Choi, MD, PhD, is an assistant professor in the Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Emory University School of Medicine. A medical oncologist, Dr. Choi specializes in treating patients with melanoma and other skin malignancies. He joined the clinical staff at Winship Cancer Institute as a practicing physician in 2023.
Education
Dr. Choi received his MD and PhD from University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) – College of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. His postgraduate medical training included a residency at Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Medicine Institute in Cleveland, Ohio, and a fellowship in hematology/medical oncology at Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois.
Research
Dr. Choi’s research interests include expanding immune-based treatment regimens and developing novel biomarkers.
