Biography
George Deeb, MD, is associate professor in the Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine at Emory University School. Dr. Deeb is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology and hematopathology. Prior to joining Emory in 2015, he was at Roswell Park Cancer Institute.
Dr. Deeb is a member of the Cell and Molecular Biology Research Program at Winship Cancer Institute.
Education
Dr. Deeb received his MD from Damascus University in Damascus, Syria. He completed his fellowship at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, New York.
Research
Dr. Deeb's research interest focuses overall on myeloid neoplasms and on myelodysplastic syndromes and related entities.
Publications
Dr. Deeb has authored numerous publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
