Biography

Courtney L. Devin, MD, MS, is assistant professor in the Division of Colorectal Surgery in the Department of Surgery at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Devin’s clinical focus involves malignant and benign diseases of the colon, rectum, and anus, including colon, rectal and anal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, diverticular disease, rectal prolapse, pelvic floor disorders, and anorectal disorders, with an interest in minimally invasive robotic approaches to colon and rectal surgery. She has been practicing with Emory Healthcare since 2023.

Dr. Devin holds professional memberships with American College of Surgeons, American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons, Society of Surgery of the Alimentary Tract, Society American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons and Georgia Society of American College of Surgeons.

Education

Dr. Devin served in the United State Peace Corps for two years prior to obtaining her MS from Georgetown University in Washington, DC and her MD from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. She completed her general surgery residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and her colorectal surgery fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia.
