Biography
Kavita Dhodapkar, MBBS, is Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Dhodapkar serves as Director of the Pediatric Immuno-Oncology Program at the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. Prior to joining Emory, she served as Director of the Phase I Program in Pediatric Oncology at Yale University School of Medicine.
Education
Dr. Dhodapkar received her Medical Degree from Seth G.S. Medical College in Bombay, India. She completed a residency in pediatrics at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. She completed a fellowship in pediatric hematology oncology at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. She also completed fellowships in pediatric hematology oncology, and pediatric neuro-oncology at NYU Medical Center in New York and NYU Medical Center in New York.
