Biography
Kavita Dhodapkar, MBBS, is Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Dhodapkar serves as scientific director of the Immune Monitoring Shared Resource at Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University and serves as director of the Pediatric Immuno-Oncology Program at the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. Prior to joining Emory, she served as director of the Phase I Program in Pediatric Oncology at Yale University School of Medicine.
Education
Dr. Dhodapkar received her Medical Degree from Seth G.S. Medical College in Bombay, India. She completed a residency in pediatrics at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. She completed a fellowship in pediatric hematology oncology at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. She also completed fellowships in pediatric hematology oncology, and pediatric neuro-oncology at NYU Medical Center in New York and NYU Medical Center in New York.
