Dr. Edelman received his MD from Albany Medical College in 1985. He then completed a residency in internal medicine at the University of California at Irvine Medical Center in 1988, as well as a residency in radiation oncology at the State University of New York Health Science Center Brooklyn in 1995. He was recruited by the Emory University School of Medicine and in 2002 joined the faculty as assistant professor of radiation oncology. Dr. Edelman is board certified in internal medicine and radiation oncology and he is a clinical member of the Winship Cancer Institute.
Dr. Edelman received his MD from Albany Medical College in New York. He completed a residency in radiation oncology at SUNY Health Science Center in Brooklyn, New York, and a residency in internal medicine at the University of California, Irvine.
Dr. Edelman is certified by the American Board of Radiology in Radiation Oncology and certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Edelman is also a member of the American Society of Therapeutic Radiation and Oncology. He has been recognized with the CV Mosby Award in the Scientific Basis of Human Behavior from Albany Medical College, and has earned speaking invitations for his work in radiation oncology and medical science.
Dr. Edelman has published research articles on cancers of the head and neck, anal cancer and endometrial cancer.
