Biography

Lindsay M. Hannan, MD, MSc, is assistant professor in the Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Emory University School of Medicine. A board certified medical oncologist specializing in the treatment of gastrointestinal cancer, Dr. Hannan joined the clinical staff at Winship Cancer Institute as an attending physician in 2023. Her practice is located at Winship at Emory Midtown and Winship Cancer Institute on the Clifton campus.

Dr. Hannan holds professional memberships with American Society of Clinical Oncology and American Society of Hematology.

Education

Dr. Hannan received her MD from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington DC. She earned her Master of Science in Public Health in Epidemiology at Rollins School of Public Health in Atlanta, Georgia. Her postgraduate medical education included residency training at Emory University School of Medicine and a fellowship in hematology/oncology at University of Washington in Seattle, Washington.

Dr. Hannan's research focus lies in examining treatment outcomes for gastrointestinal malignancies.
