Biography
Dr. Hunter began practicing with Emory Healthcare in 1990 and is board certified in neuropathology, anatomic pathology, and clinical pathology. He specializes in diagnostic surgical pathology and has clinical interests in neuro-oncology and infectious diseases of the nervous system.
Education
Dr. Hunter received his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine. He then completed his residency and fellowship at New York Presbyterian Hospital, formerly known as Columbia Presbyterian Hospital.
Research
Dr. Hunter's research interests are focused on the use of formalin-fixed parafin embedded tissue specimens for molecular analysis and diagnosis, including quantitative PCR, in-situ hybridization, and DNA sequencing.
