Biography
Jennifer L. Jones, MD is an Assistant Professor of Surgery, Division of Colorectal Surgery in the Department of Surgery at Emory University School of Medicine. As a board certified surgeon, Dr. Jones specializes in complex laparoscopic and robotic surgery for the treatment of cancer of the colon and rectum, inflammatory bowel disease, hereditary colorectal cancer and anorectal disorders.
Dr. Jones is a member of American College of Surgeons and American Society for Colon and Rectal Surgery.
Education
Dr. Jones received her MD degree from David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA in Los Angeles, California. Her postgraduate medical training included a general surgery residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, California, and a colon and rectal surgery fellowship at Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio.

Dr. Jones' articles have been published in a number of leading journals including The American Journal of Surgery, the Journal of Gastrointestinal Surgery, and the Journal of Surgical Oncology.
