Biography
David J. Katz, PhD, is Associate Professor in the Department of Cell Biology at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Katz is a member of the Cell and Molecular Biology Research Program at Winship.
Education
Dr. Katz earned his PhD in Molecular Biology from Princeton University. He then completed postdoctoral training in the Department of Biology at Emory University.
Research
Dr. Katz's lab's long-term goal is to understand the role that histone methylation plays in specifying cell fate and to determine how defects in the regulation of histone methylation can give rise to human disease.
