Biography

Alyssa M. Krasinskas, MD, is Professor in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Krasinskas serves as Director of Gastrointestinal and Liver Pathology Fellowship. Her clinical focus includes gastrointestinal, pancreatobiliary and hepatic pathology.

Dr. Krasinskas is a member of the Cancer Genetics and Epigenetics Research Program at Winship Cancer Institute.

Education

Dr. Krasinskas earned her MD from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. After obtaining her MD, Dr. Krasinskas completed both her residency and fellowship in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center.

Research

Dr. Krasinskas's research interests include molecular pathogenesis treatment effect, classification and staging of ampullary tumors, molecular pathogenesis, mesotheliomas and mucinous adenocarcinomas, and liver allograft rejection.
