Biography

Uma Krishnamurti, MD, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine at the Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Krishnamurti is certified in cytopathology, and anatomic pathology & clinical pathology by the American Board of Pathology. Prior to joining Emory, she was a pathologist at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.

Dr. Krishnamurti is a member of the Cancer Genetics and Epigenetics research program at Winship Cancer Institute.

Education

Dr. Krishnamurti received her MD from Lady Hardinge Medical College in New Delhi, India. She completed her postdoctoral training with residencies in anatomic and clinical pathology at University of Minnesota and University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
