Biography

Brent P. Little, MD, is Associate Professor in the Division of Cardiothoracic Imaging in the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Little is also Assistant Program Director for the diagnostic imaging residency in the department. A board certified diagnostic radiologist, Dr. Little specializes in thoracic and cardiac imaging.

Education

Dr. Little received his MD from Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, Connecticut. He completed his residency in radiology from Albert Einstein College of Medicine–Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, New York. He then went on to complete a fellowship in cardiothoracic imaging at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachussetts.

Research

Dr. Little's areas of research include outcomes of patients diagnosed with pneumonia on chest radiography, institutional study of CT radiation dose reduction, and other topics within chest imaging.

Publications

Dr. Little has authored a number of publications including several review articles and book chapters on cardiothoracic imaging.
