Biography
Kirill S. Lobachev, PhD, MS, is Associate Professor in the School of Biology at Georgia Institute of Technology. Dr. Lobachev is a member of the Cell and Molecular Biology Research Program at Winship Cancer Institute.
Education
Dr. Lobachev earned both his PhD and MS degrees in Biology and Genetics from St. Petersburg State University in Russia. After obtaining his PhD, Dr. Lobachev completed a research fellowship in the Laboratory of Physiological Genetics at Biological Research Institute at St. Petersburg University and a postdoctoral fellowship in the Laboratory of Molecular Genetics at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences in North Carolina.
Research
Dr. Lobachev's research interests include genome stability, recombination, repair, replication, unstable repeats, and secondary structures.
