Biography
Carlos A. Lopez, MD, MPH, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Emory University School of Medicine. A hematologist, Dr. Lopez specializes in treating patients with lymphoma and other hematological malignancies.
Dr. Lopez holds professional memberships with American Society of Hematology, American Society of Clinical Oncology, Society of General Internal Medicine and American College of Physicians.
Education
Dr. Lopez earned his Medical Degree and a Master of Public Health from University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He completed his residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at Northwell Health in New York, where he was chief resident in his final year. He also completed a pediatric survivorship fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York.
