Dr. Minson's research is focused on improving survival for children with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) by evaluating translational strategies for inhibition of the oncogenic protein MERTK and understanding mechanisms of leukemogenesis through evaluation of nuclear functions of receptor tyrosine kinases. Additionally, she is involved in clinical research activities evaluating institutional treatment guidelines for AML.
