Biography
Melvin R. Moore, MD, is Visiting Associate Professor in the Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Moore sees patients at Grady Memorial Hospital and is a member of the Discovery and Developmental Therapeutics Research Program at Winship.
Education
Dr. Moore earned his MD from Wayne State University. He completed both an internship and residency in internal medicine at Boston City Hospital. Dr. Moore also completed an oncology fellowship at Stanford University.
Research
Dr. Moore's clinical research is in the areas of cancer treatments and control in medically underserved populations, autologous bone marrow and peripheral blood transplantation in the management of breast cancer and clinical trials of biologic agents in cancer therapy.
