Biography

Marina Mosunjac, MD, is Associate Professor and Co-Director for the Residency Training Program in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Mosunjac formerly served as Director of Surgical Pathology at Grady Memorial Hospital. As a general pathologist, Dr. Mosunjac keeps an open door for advice on pathology of any organ site, and offers support and practical solutions for life of residents in general.

Dr. Mosunjac is a member of the Cancer Prevention and Control Research Program at Winship.

Education

Dr. Mosunjac earned her MD from University of Zagreb School of Medicine in Croatia. After obtaining her MD, Dr. Mosunjac completed a residency in Anatomic Pathology at University of Zagreb School of Medicine and a residency in Anatomic Clinical Pathology at Emory University. She also completed a fellowship in Cytology at Emory University.

Research

Dr. Mosunjac's research is primarily focused on HIV-associated malignancies, HIV in women, HIV and cervical dysplasia, and gynecologic and breast pathology.
