Biography
Sunil S. Raikar, MD, is Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at Emory University School of Medicine.
Dr. Raikar is a member of the Discovery and Developmental Therapeutics Research Program at Winship Cancer Institute. He also holds memberships with multiple professional organizations including American Academy of Pediatrics, American Society for Pediatric Hematology and Oncology, Children's Oncology Group, American Society of Hematology and American Society of Gene & Cell Therapy.
Education
Dr. Raikar earned his MD from Saint Louis University School of Medicine in Saint Louis, Missouri where he also completed his residency in pediatrics. He completed his post-doctoral training with a fellowship in pediatric hematology/oncology at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia.
Research
Dr. Raikar's research interest is in the field of immunotherapy and leukemia, specifically developing chimeric antigen receptors to target T-cell malignancies.
