Biography

Deepak Ravindranathan, MD, MS is an Instructor in the Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Ravindranathan sees patients with malignancies and manages related medical complications as well as consultations on the inpatient medical oncology service.

Dr. Ravindranathan holds professional memberships with American Society of Hematology and American Society of Clinical Oncology.

Education

Dr. Ravindranathan received his medical degree from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia and continued his fellowship training in hematology and medical oncology at Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University.

Research

Dr. Ravindranathan's research in fellowship was in the area of genitourinary cancers with emphasis on the discovery of predictive and prognostic biomarkers of immunotherapy efficacy. He also investigated outcomes of patients with malignancies diagnosed with COVID-19 infection and contributed to generate a repository of clinical and genomic data of patients with prostate cancer.
