Biography
Nickolas B. Reimer, MD, is one of four fellowship-trained orthopedic oncologists in the state of Georgia. His clinical practice focuses on the treatment of bone and soft tissue sarcomas, as well as benign bone and soft tissue tumors, in children and adults. In addition to primary soft tissue and bone tumors, he also treats metastatic disease affecting the musculoskeletal system. Since his practice often requires advanced, unconventional solutions to difficult problems, he also performs complex reconstruction and deformity correction surgery in non-oncologic patients.
Education
Dr. Reimer earned his medical degree from Northeastern Ohio University College of Medicine. He completed his residency and internship at the University of Minnesota and his fellowship at the University of Florida.
Research
Dr. Reimer's research interests include novel biomechanical implant design, radiation therapy for soft tissue sarcomas, and clinical outcome data collection.
