Biography
Board certified in pediatric hematology/oncology, Himalee S. Sabnis, MD, MSc, practices at Egleston Children's Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia.
Dr. Sabnis holds professional memberships with American Society of Hematology, American Society of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology, American Society of Clinical Oncology and Children’s Oncology Group. She is a member of the Discovery and Developmental Therapeutics at Winship Cancer Institute.
Education
Dr. Sabnis received her Medical Degree from Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College at the University of Mumbai in India. She completed a Residency in Pediatrics at Children's Hospital of Michigan in Detroit, MI. She also completed a Fellowship in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology at Emory University in Atlanta, GA.
Research
Dr. Sabnis' research areas of interest include biology of acute myeloid leukemia (AML), and signaling pathways in leukemic cells and new therapeutic agents in AML.
