Gelareh Sadigh, MD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Sadigh's major clinical interests include imaging of brain and spine particularly brain neoplasms and white matter diseases.
Dr. Sadigh received her MD from Tehran University of Medical Sciences. She completed her residency in Diagnostic Radiology and her fellowship in Neuroradiology at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia.
Dr. Sadigh's research interests include patient preferences, risk communication, informed decision making, comparative effectiveness, meta-analyses and systematic reviews. More recently, her work has centered on appropriate utilization of imaging tests, cost of medical imaging, healthcare price transparency and financial toxicity. Her work in these areas has served to identify current gaps in patient-centered healthcare delivery.
