Biography

Amit M. Saindane, MD, is Director of Neuroradiology MRI, and Chair of the MRI Quality and Safety Committee in the Department of Radiology and Imaging Services at Emory School of Medicine. Dr. Saindane previously served as the Director of the Division of Neuroradiology for the department.

A board certified radiologist, Dr. Saindane specializes in brain, spine, and neurovascular imaging in neurological diseases. He has practiced with Emory Healthcare since 2008.

Education

Dr. Saindane received his Medical Degree from University of Pennsylvania School Of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed his postdoctoral training with an internship at Presbyterian Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and also completing his residency in diagnostic radiology and a fellowship in neuroradiology at New York University Medical Center in New York, New York.

Research

Dr. Saindane research interests include applications of advanced MRI techniques such as functional MRI (fMRI), diffusion tensor imaging (DTI), and noninvasive vascular techniques such as time-resolved MRA for neurological diseases.
