Amit M. Saindane, MD, MBA, is Professor within the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences and Department of Neurosurgery of the Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Saindane serves as Vice Chair of Clinical Affairs for the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences where he promotes operational efficiency and workflow improvements. A board certified radiologist, he specializes in brain, spine, and neurovascular imaging in neurological diseases. He has practiced with Emory Healthcare since 2008.
Dr. Saindane is a member of the Division of Neuroradiology where he interfaces closely with the Departments of Neurosurgery, Neurology, Radiation Oncology, Ophthalmology, and Otolaryngology to provide expert image interpretation and aid in managing difficult clinical problems using advanced imaging techniques across Emory Healthcare sites.
Dr. Saindane received his Medical Degree from University of Pennsylvania School Of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed his postdoctoral training with an internship at Presbyterian Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and also completing his residency in diagnostic radiology and a fellowship in neuroradiology at New York University Medical Center in New York, New York.
Dr. Saindane's research interest is in application of advanced magnetic resonance imaging techniques to improve understanding, diagnosis, and follow-up of neurological disorders. His research focus is in imaging of intracranial pressure disorders and obesity.
