Biography

Debra Saxe, PhD, is Associate Professor in Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine and holds an adjunct position as Assistant Professor in the Department of Human Genetics. Dr. Saxe is also the Director of Oncology Cytogenetics. She is a member of the Discovery and Developmental Therapeutics Research Program at Winship Cancer Institute.

Education

Dr. Saxe received her PhD from University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona.

Research

Dr. Saxe's research interests are in studying the cytogenetics and Fluorescence in situ Hybridization (FISH) abnormalities in hematopathology and soft tissue malignancies.
