Biography
Jesse A. Soodalter, MD, is Assistant Professor in the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine. A palliative care specialist, Dr. Soodalter provides specialized outpatient medical care with a focus on relief from the symptoms and stress of cancer and other illnesses. She attends in the Emory Supportive Care Clinic at the Clifton Road location. In addition to general palliative care, her areas of special interest include care for underserved patients, and pain and symptom management for patients with sickle cell disease.
Dr. Soodalter is a member of American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
Education
Dr. Soodalter earned her Medical Degree from The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She completed her internal medicine residency at Brown University. She then completed fellowships in hematology and oncology, and in hospice and palliative medicine at University of Chicago Medical Center.
