Biography

Kristin D. Starbuck, MD, is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Gynecologic Oncology of the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at Emory University School of Medicine. As a gynecologic cancer specialist, Dr. Starbuck collaborates with gynecologic cancer teams to deliver top care to patients at Emory Decatur Hospital. She specializes in the treatment of cervical, ovarian, uterine, vulvar and vaginal cancer.

Education

Dr. Starbuck received her medical degree from University of Connecticut School of Medicine in Farmington, Connecticut. She completed her residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. She completed postdoctoral fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.

Research

Dr. Starbuck's research focus is on glycoprotein expression in ovarian cancer and the influence of chemokines in the ovarian cancer immune microenvironment.
