Ryan J. Summers, MD is an Instructor in the Department of Pediatrics at Emory University School of Medicine. A pediatric hematologist practicing at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, Dr. Summers specializes in the treatment of childhood blood cancers.
Education
Dr. Summers earned his Medical Degree from Emory University School of Medicine where he also completed his residency in pediatrics and his fellowship in pediatric hematology/oncology.
Research
Dr. Summers is a translational researcher in the laboratory of Dr. Douglas Graham. His research interests are focused on targeting the receptor tyrosine kinase MERTK in T-cell ALL and on the implementation of precision medicine-based approaches to pediatric cancer care through the Aflac Precision Medicine Program.
