Biography
Eric J. Sundberg, PhD, is Professor and Chair in the Department of Biochemistry at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Sundberg is a member of the Cancer Immunology Research Program at Winship Cancer Institute.
Education
Dr. Sundberg earned his PhD in the Inter-departmental Biological Sciences Program at Northwestern University. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Center for Advanced Research in Biotechnology-University of Maryland Biotechnology Institute (now the Institute for Bioscience and Biotechnology at the University of Maryland.)
Research
Dr. Sundberg's research program leverages expertise in structural biology, molecular biophysics and protein engineering to define the molecular bases of infectious diseases and to develop novel protein therapeutics.
