Biography

Horace Tang, MD, is an assistant professor in the Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Emory University School of Medicine. A board-certified medical oncologist, Dr. Tang practices general medical oncology with a primary clinical focus in treating patients with breast cancer, lung cancer and colon cancer. Located at Emory Decatur Hospital, he believes in delivering compassionate and exceptional cancer care to all patients and their families.

Prior to joining the faculty at Emory in March 2024, he was an attending physician at RWJBarnabas Health Medical Group, Community Medical Center in Toms River, New Jersey.

Education

Dr. Tang received his MD from University of Oklahoma, College of Medicine in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He completed his internal medicine residency at UMass Chan School of Medicine in Worcester, Massachusetts, and his hematology/oncology fellowship at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.
